Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your location?
We currently serve hospitals in the Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Dexter, Pinckney, Brighton, Whitmore Lake, Hartland, Fenton and Linden areas.
What hospitals do you serve?
We are a mobile veterinary cardiology service that travels to various veterinary clinics around Southeast Michigan. Some of our current affiliates are Compassionate Care Animal Hospital (Ann Arbor), Animal Health Clinic(Fenton, MI) and Dexter Animal Clinic (Dexter, MI).
What are your hours?
Currently, we are seeing patients by appointment only. If you would like to get in contact with us, you may email us at info@greatlakesvetimaging.com or call at (734) 736-3399. If we do not answer during regular business hours, please leave us a message, as we may be with a patient. We will get back to you as soon as we can!
Does my pet need to be sedated?
The services we provide are minimally invasive and require nothing from your pet other than to stay (relatively) still. Most patients need no sedation and simply lay comfortably with us in a dimly lit exam room while we perform our diagnostics. There are special circumstances where sedation creates a more safe and fear free environment. These instances would be thoroughly discussed with the owner beforehand.
What form of payment is accepted?
Payment is required on the day of appointment and will be accepted by the clinic location. Please contact the appointment location directly for specific payment options.
How do I get an appointment?
If your primary veterinarian has referred you and your pet to see a cardiologist, please fill out our patient history form and submit it to us for our evaluation. We will get back to you as soon as possible for scheduling options.
